This was confirmed by Stella Kalashyan in a conversation with the wedding manager of Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg, Natalia Koloshtivina.
The hotel is located in the heart of the city in the immediate vicinity of the Hermitage and opposite the St. Isaac's Cathedral. What is the advantage of such an arrangement for events?
We’ve got perfect view to St. Isaac's Cathedral. Photographers often say that our Terrace rooms with this view to St. Isaac's Cathedral are ideal for wedding photo shoots.
Another advantage of our hotel is the wedding in St. Isaac's Cathedral. Not so long ago, even the best agencies of the city could not do this, but now this is an ordinary story.
What about the accommodations in your hotel? How many rooms do you have? And how many halls for events do you have?
We’ve got 183 rooms, including 26 suites.
There are four restaurants and a four-level spa - Luceo Spa, which has eight treatment rooms, a suite for couples with a separate seating area and a swimming pool. The services include massage procedures with oils of Santa Maria Novella, Golden Omorovicza procedures, Amber procedures, massage, body, face, hands and feet treatments, as well as special packages from Luceo Spa
The main hall for events is the ballroom Montferrand.
The hall has excellent noise insulation, which allows to carry out activities until morning. It is very big, you can have a wedding with the program, artists and musicians. Also the hotel has four conference rooms, where it is possible to arrange some small wedding.
The hotel has three restaurants. The first is the "Tea Room", offering traditional dishes of Russian and European cuisine. There is a restaurant of Pan-Asian cuisine - Sintoho. And the Italian restaurant Percorso with a private dining room for 12 people, very cozy for European-style chamber weddings with an expensive menu and fine wines. The Amber Room in Percorso is the pearl of our hotel. It has some restrictions on the rearrangement of furniture and the program, but anyway many couples choose this room for their main celebration.
And, of course, cocktail bar Xander. it is possible to arrange weddings at reasonable prices in this bar, spending about 150 thousand rubles for a group of 20 persons. A great option for those who want to spend their wedding in a posh place, but not ready for big expenses.
Which cuisines do you have at the hotel? Who is the chef?
Our hotel offers several types of cuisines: Italian, Pan-Asian and Russian with European elements. In each restaurant we have our own chef, but the main chief is Italian chef Matteo Guida with experience in various Michelin-starred restaurants. Chefs Valerio Andrassani (Percorso), Mike Lee (Sintoho) and Denis Prokhorov (banquet menu) work under his leadership.
Have you got any special bonuses for wedding couples?
The most important bonus is provided if the couple chooses the "Montferrand" hall for their wedding. In this case we give away a room of the category Terrace with a view to St. Isaac's Cathedral for the night before or after the celebration.
And if the budget of the wedding tends to a million, then we give a night in one of the noble suites, by the way, it is often ordered for bachelorette parties.
Also for the couple and their guests we offer special prices for accommodation, early check-in and late check-out. Sometimes we give a special offer to the spa service "Romantic trip for two" in the luxurious "Alexandrite" spa-apartment.
Another bonus for our guests is a free photo shoot in the hotel interiors. We are always happy to suggest the best places for shooting.
If the presidential apartment is available on the day of the wedding, we will happily open its doors for a photo session.
Before the opening of the restaurant Percorso, you can arrange a photo session in one of its rooms - Amber room.
For the bride's preparations we use the Terrace area because of the splendid view.
Tell us about the special spa package for brides “Celebrate the Bride” - what is included in this offer?
It includes a royal body scrub (50 minutes), and a gold facial moisturizing (80 minutes). This ends with a canapé and a glass of champagne. The procedure is based on the professional Hungarian line of cosmetics Omorovicza. We also use ILA cosmetics and the oils of Santa Maria Novella Four Seasons.
